You'll want one of these tool boxes to use to transport a second battery on your rear rack!! It also has a pull out top shelf that you can use to keep your most used repair tools for your bike too. Put some foam padding in there to cushion your second battery and use some strapping cords or bungie cords to secure the tool box to your rear rack. Highly recommend this option for keeping a second battery with you on your rides. This box is 20.25" measured from the outside, but check your battery length to see if it will fit. I chose this larger box as it fits nearly all of my bike batteries. Take up additional space by using some foam from your ebike's packing materials to help cushion the bottom, top and sides of the battery inside. Cushioning is important also for the tools to keep them from rattling around inside. I suggest putting the tools in a large ziplock bag and then wrapping the bag with a small towel to keep the noise down from the tools when going over a bump in the road.
